Soft & quiet sneakers for minimalists

Let’s be honest—sometimes Nike and Adidas sneakers just don’t work with the outfit. Even though I can’t imagine my closet without my trusty Asics Gel-Kayano, there are occasions when I reach for no-logo, classic sneakers instead. Where to find them?

My top pick at the moment is Alohas. Founded in Hawaii in 2015, this brand makes dupes that are better than the originals—more chic versions of iconic trainers like Miu Miu x New Balance or Adidas x Wales Bonner. I have a pair inspired by the viral cinnamon-toned Miu Miu sneakers, and they look super classy. Psst… check out the ones with crochet laces!

Next on the agenda: COS. First of all, did you know it’s the only high street brand that managed to be in the top 10 hottest brands in this year’s Lyst Index? They place 6th just after Prada and before Bottega Veneta! COS is hot.

Time for a higher price point: Jacquemus The Tennis sneakers are also minimal, subtle and without a logo.
